Dragon’s for Israel (DFI), Drexel’s amazing pro-Israel campus group, recently held their annual Israel Peace Week event. DFI, a CAMERA supported group, was founded by Shoshana Weiss, a former CAMERA Israel trip participant, CAMERA Fellow, and current president of DFI. The group now has almost 300 members on their list serve,

This year, over 100 students attended Israel Peace Week festivities, which included a screening of the documentary “A Hero in Heaven” followed by a Q&A with Michael Levin’s sister, an outdoors Israel Independence Day/Yom Haatzmaut celebration and an Israel 101 presentation hosted at AEPi.

Below are photographs of students enjoying delicious food (in Israel it is customary to spend Independence Day outdoors barbecuing meat), playing beach volleyball (quite popular in Tel Aviv), and displaying informative posters about the many steps that Israel has taken towards peace.
