Arizona State University
Graham Paul is a freelance writer from Southern California attending Arizona State University for his senior year. Graham is pursuing a degree in political science with certificates in international studies and political entrepreneurship. He began his writing career as a Sports Reporter and Opinions Columnist for the State Press student newspaper at ASU. He then joined Jewish News AZ as a Staff Writer, and became a Peer-Review Editor for the Journal on Global Affairs Theoretical and Empirical. Currently, Graham produces freelance columns for Israel News Online, Jewish News AZ and Hillel International. In his spare time he enjoys reading, listening to classical music and playing sports. After his degree he seeks to pursue a career in journalism, activism or public policy.
Binghamton University
Nadiya Al-Noor is a 22-year-old Shia Muslim activist from New York. She is a graduate student in the dual-degree Master of Public Administration and Student Affairs Administration program at Binghamton University. She graduated with honors from Goucher College with a degree in Russian. She is a speaker and writer on Jewish-Muslim interfaith relations, Islamic thought and cultural reform, Zionism, and antisemitism. She has a popular blog with The Times of Israel, and her writing has been published in the United States, Canada, Israel, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates. She received the Endowment for Middle East Truth’s Rays of Light Award for her Israel activism in June 2017. She is currently an intern for pro-Israel LGBTQ organization, A Wider Bridge.
Boston College
Tomer Finkelberg is a senior Biology major at Boston College, and current President of Eagels for Israel. He was born in Haifa, Israel, and immigrated to the states with his family in 2004. He has held an executive board position with EIBC since his freshman year. As an Israeli, he’s extremely passionate about Israel advocacy on campus and fighting for what is right. He hopes to continue this path through the CAMERA fellowship.
Brooklyn College
Fay Yanofsky is a sophomore at the City University of New York, Brooklyn College, studying for a Masters of Science in public accounting, business management, and finance. She is the treasurer of CAMERA-supported group Bulldogs for Israel, founder and chairwoman of the Accounting Society’s Women’s Initiative Network, founder and president of the Koppleman School of Business’ Mock Trial, treasurer and columnist for the Night Call News Campus Publications, and the head delegate of Model United Nations.
Brown University
Jared Samilow is rising sophomore at Brown University, double majoring in computer science and economics. Jared is a used to be a columnist for Ha’aretz and is publishing a chapter in a book on Israel activism. Before college, Jared participated in a gap-year program at Yeshivat Eretz HaTzvi. in Jerusalem, where he was also selected to be a fellow in the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs’ Fellowship Program in Israel-Arab Studies.
California State Polytechnic University
Roee Landesman is a 1st-year student at Cal Poly SLO studying Computer Engineering. After moving to the United States at the age of five, his passion for Israel advocacy, in the media and in his local community, has only grown. He looks forward to building a stronger advocacy community both on and off his campus, and is incredibly excited to work with CAMERA in spreading the truth about Israel.
Carleton University
Samantha Goodman is a third-year Journalism student at Carleton University. She enjoys writing, reading and getting together with friends as well as meeting new people. She is active in many groups on campus including the Israeli Awareness Committee, the school newspaper the Charlatan, the Conservative group and the Mental Health Champions. She hopes to bring back the belief that journalists do fair and accurate reporting and eliminate fake news!
Carlmont High School
Sandra Strongin is sixteen years old and lives in sunny California. She is a rising senior at Carlmont, a public high school in the competitive Silicon Valley area. Aside from strong academics, she holds three leadership positions on her robotics team. She worked all summer at Wizbots, a robotics summer camp that teaches young children about basic programming and design. She also volunteers at ASPCA, Second Harvest Food Bank, and a homeless shelter monthly. She is a proud fellow at CAMERA, and the first ever high schooler accepted into their prestigious program. She also loves to just hang out with her family, dog, and goes to the beach weekly.

Oshra Bitton is a creative writing major at the City College of New York (CCNY), an Undergrad Editor at Promethean––CCNY’s official literary journal––and the Social Media Chair of StudentsSupporting Israel at CCNY. Still, she’s best known for sporting athletic-wear without actually engaging in any physical activity.
George Mason University
Julian Moss is a senior at George Mason University studying Government and International Politics. He is currently the president of the Israel Student Association and is working for an organization called Judicial Watch as a fundraising intern. Julian loves to cook and brought back amazing recipes from Israel, he might even share them if you are interested.
The George Washington University
Emma Enig is currently a sophomore at the George Washington University, and is double majoring in political science and Jewish history. Before college, she was the co-founder and co-president of her high school’s Israel advocacy club and became a dedicated pro-Israel advocate. After graduating from her Jewish Day School, she briefly lived in Israel, where she traveled around the country and learned about the history, culture, and politics of the land. Around campus, Emma is known for combating anti-Israel media bias with the truth, and (much to the dismay of her roommates) she spends most of her time watching the news and debating with others. She is currently a board member for her Israel group, GW for Israel, the largest pro-Israel group on campus, and interns for the Republican Jewish Coalition.
The George Washington University
Jennifer Tischler is a sophomore at George Washington University, majoring in international affairs with a concentration in security policy. Her interest in international politics stems from her Jewish heritage and desire to correct myths aimed at delegitimizing Israel. She has been involved for many years with groups such as AIPAC and StandWithUs. On campus, she is involved with several pro-Israel groups such as GW for Israel, Chabad GW, and GWTogether. With CAMERA, she hopes to address the rising influence of anti-Semitic movements and put the Israeli-Arab conflict back into context.
Harvard University
Ilan Goldberg is a sophomore at Harvard University. He is originally from Mexico City, but has lived in Toronto and now lives in Los Angeles California. He is interested in strengthening the Israel education on the Harvard Campus. Ilan feels lucky to have been able to spend time in Israel growing up, and wants to show the beauty, diversity, and complexity of Israel to other students who have not yet had the opportunity to see it for themselves.
Hunter College
Rebecca Fliegelman grew up in Rockland County and is the second of four girls. She got her associates degree in liberal arts from Rockland Community College in 2016 and is now pursuing a psychology undergraduate degree at Hunter College. She plans to go to graduate school for physical therapy in Israel and hopes to make aliyah in the near future. She hopes that by joining the CAMERA team, she will be able to use the power of the pen to inform her classmates about all things Israel and defend Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state. She also hopes to further her own knowledge on the subject of Israel and learn to stand tall and confident in the face of controversy. She is looking forward to meeting new people and experiencing CAMERA.

Hriday Ch. Sarma is currently enrolled as a PhD Candidate in Energy Studies Programme at School of International Studies in Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. He has a academic background in International relations, with major in Eurasian and Middle East studies. Hriday has a rapt interest in contemporary Middle East politics and tries to analyze the proceedings there from a unbiased perspective. He has previously worked with different reputed think tank organizations in different capacities, like Visiting Research Fellow with Institute for National Security Studies (Israel) and Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (Azerbaijan).
John Jay College of Criminal Justice
Natalie Segev is a freshman at John Jay College of Criminal Justice located in New York City. Her major is International Criminal Justice and she hopes to pursue a career in international relations. Natalie is involved in numerous student club including Hillel at John Jay and Mock Trial Association.
King’s College London
Hadar Langerman is a pharmacy student at King’s College London (KCL). She was the president of the CAMERA- supported KCL Israel society last year, and is excited to be able to continue promoting Israel in an accurate light this year as a CAMERA fellow. Born in Israel, her connection to Israel is integral to her identity, and she has enjoyed fostering others to make a similar connection. She also enjoys educating others about Israel, particularly fighting inaccuracies on campus. Last year, KCL Israel society organised an event sponsored by CAMERA that was violently protested; the support provided by CAMERA in the aftermath attested to the incredible work that CAMERA continues to do.

Miriam Waghalter is a freshman at the Rutgers University Honors College from Los Angeles. She plans to major in political science and Middle Eastern studies. She studies Arabic and participates in coexistence programs such as the MAJIC (Muslims and Jews Inspiring Change) Leadership Council. She hopes to continue using the skills that she has learned through these experiences to be an advocate for Israel. Miriam is the president of CAMERA-supported group Scarlet Knights for Israel. She is excited to be a part of the CAMERA Fellowship.
San Diego State University
Talia Raoufpur is a fourth-year student pursuing a major in psychology and minor in communications at San Diego State University. She serves as a Senior Staff Writer for the university’s newspaper. She is the host of “Hit the News, not the Snooze”, a morning news show on KCR College Radio, and is also a Hasbara fellow. As a first-generation American raised by two Iranian immigrants, Talia’s connection to Israel is personal. Her parents’ anti-Semitic experiences in Iran inspired her belief that the Jewish people are entitled to a nation where they can freely practice their religious values. After college, she hopes to pursue a degree in media law and aims to host her own talk show.

Eddie Mattout is the son of Mexican and Venezuelan immigrants. He spent his first four years in Caracas, Venezuela after which he moved to New York. He attended Ramaz Upper School in Manhattan after which he moved to Israel to join the IDF. He served in the International Relations Unit, in the Latin American desk. This fall he will be starting his studies at Stanford University. Eddie dedicates most of his free time to Kol HaNearim, an organization he helped found which brings international volunteers to run summer camps for children at risk in Israel. Some of his favorite activities include reading, surfing, and listening to music.

John Rice-Cameron was born and raised in Washington, D.C in the heart of America’s political scene. He studies Economics at Stanford. John has revitalized and spearheads the pro-Israel movement at Stanford, in his capacity as a writer for the Stanford Review and Financial Officer of Stanford College Republicans.
Tufts University
Ben Shapiro is a sophomore at Tufts University, outside Boston. Born nearby in Brookline, he lives in Calabasas, CA and loves to soak up the sun whenever he can. Ben is the co-president of Tufts American Israel Alliance, or TAIA, and is a founding board member of TAMID at Tufts. In high school he was active in USY and the Los Angeles Jewish Federation. Ben has attended AIPAC Policy Conference the past two years, and has visited Israel with family and on NFTY in Israel. Traveling to Israel in the middle of the 2014 conflict really opened up Ben’s eyes to the realities on the ground, and was a turning point in his already staunch Israel advocacy. When he isn’t defending the homeland on Facebook, Ben spends his free time at Disneyland or grabbing sushi with friends.
University of California San Diego
Sapir Levi is a third year Human Biology major at the University of California, San Diego, and an aspiring doctor. Sapir works in an oncology lab, tutors undergrads in physics, and engages in Israel advocacy on campus. Sapir now holds the position of President of CAMERA-supported group Tritons For Israel, continuing her passion for hasbara, striving both to celebrate Israel, and defend it on campus. When she’s not in the lab or running around handing out hummus to people, Sapir enjoys spending time with her four younger siblings, and eating falafel.
University College London
Alexandra Taic is a second year student studying Social Sciences at UCL. Having grown up in Israel, she is passionately involved in the political, cultural and social developments happening in the region and hopes to help others develop a strong bond to Israel. She served as a Commander on Combat Recruit Training in the IDF, overseeing more than 180 soldiers during her military service. After moving to London for university, the antisemitism and anti-Israel activism she encountered, prompted her to take action and get involved on campus. Alex believes that an accurate, unbiased and well-rounded depiction of Israel is essential to bringing peace. As the President of the Friends of Israel Society in her university, Alex aims to bring a diverse group of speakers to her campus and facilitate constructive debate among students.
University of Arizona
Layla Jaffe is currently a sophomore pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Law at the University of Arizona. She has ambitions to attend law school and become a lawyer, as she enjoys searching for the facts. She is passionate about human rights and works hard to promote Israel’s achievements in this realm, on campus.
University of California, Davis
Charline Delkhah is a senior at UC Davis. She is currently majoring in Managerial Economics with a minor in Computer Science. Charline was the Vice President of Aggies for Israel for the 2016-2017 school year and will be the President for the upcoming year. When she’s not activating for Israel on campus, Charline loves to travel, hike, try new foods, and meet new people. Originally from Los Angeles (go Lakers!), Charline has been playing basketball for almost 20 years. She deeply misses the food culture that LA has. Charline can fluently speak 4 languages – English, Farsi, Hebrew, and American Sign Language.”

Shlomo Roiter is a second year undergraduate student at Hughes Hall college studying Human Social and Political Sciences, with a focus in Politics and International Relations. Originally from New York, Shlomo and his family now live in Jerusalem. Shlomo served as an officer in the IDF after high school and spent a gap year learning in Yeshiva and working on a Kibbutz in Israel. Shlomo is one the of the co-founders of the Cambridge Middle East and North Africa Forum (MENAF), a society on Cambridge University campus focusing on educating students on political issues related to the greater Middle East as well as providing a platform for the expression of a wide range of opinions on relevant political issues.
University of Central Florida
Jake Suster is currently an Executive Member of CAMERA-supported group Knights for Israel at the University of Central Florida. As a Fellow, Jake will continue to bring a pro-Israel narrative to campus. KFI is currently the only pro-Israel advocacy organization at UCF, the largest university by student population in Florida.
University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill
Danielle Adler is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a double degree in Peace, War, and Defense and Political Science with a History minor. Her passion for politics stems from her early interest and devotion to supporting the State of Israel. She helped re-vamp Heels for Israel, UNC’s only bipartisan organization that seeks to promote understanding and the truth about Israel and has taken on several leadership roles in the group. Danielle has loved living in the Tar Heel state but sure does miss some good hummus!
University of Nottingham
Daniel Kosky is a third-year international relations student at The University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. He has been the Israel and Campaigns Officer for the Nottingham Jewish Society, where he represents the society on a political level. As part of his position he has run stalls countering Israel Apartheid Week, hosted speakers, including the Israeli Ambassador to the UK Mark Regev, dealt with instances of anti-Semitism, and run Israel engagement events such as Yom Haatzmaut parties. He has also represented his university at the National Union of Students, where he stood up for Jewish and pro-Israel students in a very hostile atmosphere. Daniel has spent time working with CAMERA as a Summer Intern during 2017 in Jerusalem.

Ariela Stein was born and raised in Miami, FL. She attended the RASG Hebrew Academy of Miami Beach from first through twelfth grade. She then took a gap year in Jerusalem and attended Midreshet Moriah. She is now a sophomore at the University of Pennsylvania studying Political Science and History with a certification in Spanish Language. She is the Political Coordinator on Penn Israel Public Affairs Committee’s executive board. She is passionate about fighting anti-Israel activity on campus and has published in her school newspaper The Daily Pennsylvanian. She is also one of 16 School of Arts and Sciences representatives on the Penn Undergraduate Assembly

Marcell Horvath is originally from Budapest. Marcell grew up in the United States and currently resides in Scotland. He studied law at the University of Glasgow and history at the University of Maryland. He is now pursuing a postgraduate qualification in law at the University of Strathclyde. Marcell has held positions in both Jewish and pro-Israel student societies. He rides a bicycle during the week and enjoys reading and musical activities in his spare time.
York University
Shira Ragosin studies at York University in Toronto Canada. She fell in love with Israel after living there for a year before university. Due to her involvement in the CAMERA-supported ISA, a student group dedicated to promoting a belief in Zionism, Shira is more determined than ever to work with other like-minded individuals to achieve the tools of rhetoric needed to spread the message. As a communications and English student, Shira is equipped with the passion and knowledge of how essential it is to discuss and educate others with the right information, and hopes CAMERA can help her spread the truth of Zionism on her campus, to all. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, watching movies, and traveling.
