Norman Finkelstein, a notoriously anti-Israel academic, is scheduled to speak at the University of Toronto – Mississauga on March 5th, 2019. In anticipation of the event, CAMERA’s Canada Campus Coordinator Zac Schildcrout made the following statement:
“Finkelstein espouses extreme antisemitic views. He minimizes Jewish suffering, and irrationally maligns the world’s only Jewish state through outright lies. His outspoken support for Hezbollah, a virulently antisemitic terrorist organization, should deeply disturb anyone of good faith. His claims should be passionately challenged in the public sphere, particularly by University of Toronto students tonight.”
