Nadiya Al-Noor is a 22-year-old Shia Muslim activist from New York. She is a graduate student in the dual-degree Master of Public Administration and Student Affairs Administration program at Binghamton University. She graduated with honors from Goucher College with a degree in Russian. She is a speaker and writer on Jewish-Muslim interfaith relations, Islamic thought and cultural reform, Zionism, and antisemitism. She has a popular blog with The Times of Israel, and her writing has been published in the United States, Canada, Israel, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates. She received the Endowment for Middle East Truth’s Rays of Light Award for her Israel activism in June 2017. She is currently an intern for pro-Israel LGBTQ organization, A Wider Bridge.
