CAMERA on Campus alumnus, University of Pittsburgh Fellow 2010-2011 Micah Toll, is an inventor.
During his career as a CAMERA Fellow, Micah made waves by inviting Sgt. Benjamin Anthony to campus. Anti-Israel Students for Justice in Palestine attempted to disrupt the talk, and even video-taped their disturbances. After watching their video, Micah decided he’d make a video of his own: a parody video, using SJP’s footage and inserting subtitles, pointing out all of the inaccurate claims in the video.
For his hard work, Micah was given the inaugural David Bar-Illan Award for Outstanding Student Leadership at CAMERA’s annual gala in 2011.
Micah made Aliyah after graduating, settling in Tel Aviv, and has built his own electric bicycle!
Micah and his invention were recently featured in the February 2015 issue of Popular Science magazine!

Now he uses that knowledge to build better models, electrifying regular bicycles at a fraction of a new one’s price.
