Mizrahi Stories

Mizrahi Stories is a campaign that coincides with November — Mizrahi Heritage month. A series of initiatives to educate students about the history of Jewish communities in the Middle East and North Africa, this campaign consists of digital advocacy, student-led events on university campuses, and highlighting important voices. CAMERA on Campus seeks to provide information and resources to educate others about the important history of Mizrahi Jews, from Morocco to Afghanistan.

How Israeli Academics Encourage Boycotts Against Israel

Most of the global struggle calling for a boycott of Israeli universities comes from organizations abroad, but not surprisingly, some of the legitimacy for this movement comes from within.

Some Israeli academics actively support or cooperate with boycott campaigns, whether out of a sincere belief that Israel is committing war crimes, or out of the naïve thought that distancing and distinguishing itself from the Israeli government will protect academia from international sanctions.
