SodaStream Tabling at MSU
We tabled at Michigan State University to provide a clear and accurate representation of coexistence in Israel. SodaStream, which provides jobs and opportunities to Israeli Arabs, Palestinians, and Israelis alike in the factory in Israel, was our chief example. We had many meaningful conversations and shone a light on the very real possibility of coexistence through collaboration!

We’re excited to highlight Jasmyn Jordan, one of our University of Iowa (2024–2025) fellows whose career in political journalism is already taking off after her CAMERA on Campus Fellowship.
Since June 2025, she has worked as a Politics Reporter covering national political issues. In July 2025, she founded the McLean County Young Republicans, creating new opportunities for young conservatives to engage in local politics.
In November 2025, she was selected as a Vandenberg Coalition National Security Media Fellow, where she deepened her understanding of U.S. foreign policy from great-power competition with China and Russia to challenges in the Middle East and Europe’s defense posture, while also learning key ethical standards for national security reporting.
She has also been chosen as a Young Women for America Fellow. Through this program, Jasmyn will travel to Israel for the first time this May and complete a capstone project examining how media coverage shifts blame toward Israel rather than focusing on the actions of Israel’s and the United States’ adversaries.
Jasmyn’s work reflects a strong commitment to journalism, civic leadership, and global affairs, and we’re proud to feature her as part of our alumni community. We are excited to see where her career leads, proud of the important lessons she gained through her fellowship with CAMERA on Campus, and proud to count her among our alumni community.

What a Student-Run VR Event Revealed to Me About Middle East Knowledge Gaps
Earlier this semester, I helped host a virtual reality tabling event on campus that allowed students to step into the experiences of Israelis during the October 7th Hamas attacks. Using VR headsets, students could personally witness the devastation and chaos of that day, including scenes from the Nova Music Festival massacre. I expected emotional reactions and I saw them. But what surprised me most was how many students had never even heard of what happened.

Antisemitism Has Been Permitted on UF’s Campus
On Mar. 21, 2025, University of Florida Law student Preston Damsky posted an antisemitic message to X, using a Marxist professor’s desire to remove the inequality of privilege by “abolishing the White race” to justify harming Jews. After UF barred him from campus, Damsky filed a lawsuit, and US District Judge Allen Winsor ruled on Nov. 24, 2025 that his statements were protected, ordering that UF allow him back to class. Regardless of opinions on legal morality, this story represents a deeper societal crisis. Legal permission can never mean moral permission.

When Reality is Optional, Hatred Becomes Possible
On January 20, 2026, inside a Miami Beach nightclub, a crowd of young people raised their arms and chanted “Heil Hitler” as a Kanye West song by that name pulsed through the speakers. Among those celebrating were social media influencers with tens of millions of followers between them. The club fired three employees.

On Canadian Campuses, Intimidation Is Becoming Policy
Canadian universities like to describe themselves as guardians of free inquiry. But across the country, they are quietly training students to learn a different lesson: that some ideas are simply not worth debating, defending, or discussing.

Reply to Prof. Amos Goldberg – When Discourse on Antisemitism Itself Becomes Blind to Antisemitism
In his article on the local conversation website, Prof. Amos Goldberg praised the decision of the new mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani, to cancel the adoption of the IHRA (International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance) definition of anti-Semitism, which was adopted by his predecessor, Eric Adams.

Research Fellow (NGO Monitor & CAMERA collaboration)
Jointly, NGO Monitor (a project of The Institute for NGO Research) and CAMERA (Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis) seek a research fellow – either a student or a recent graduate – for a six-month position to conduct research and produce materials that will examine Middle East news coverage of selected NGOs at two mainstream media outlets from Oct. 7, 2023 to the present.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working in coordination with CAMERA staff to monitor daily news coverage from the two outlets relevant to the activity of the selected NGOs.
- Meeting regularly with key stakeholders to receive guidance and track progress.
- Delivering time-linked milestones involving the submission of short summaries/reports, draft chapters, and/or essays for publication.
- Completing a final project – to be co-published/co-signed by NGOM and CAMERA – in the form of a research report that will serve as an enduring record of the accomplishments. Alternatively, the Fellow will complete multiple shorter pieces for submission to an online platform.
- Presenting the project and findings at a minimum of one public event jointly sponsored by NGOM and CAMERA.
Key requirements include:
- Deep knowledge of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, including the various players and sources of information
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- High quality writing, with ability to organize large amounts of material, make compelling arguments and articulate eloquently
- Good understanding of ethical journalism, with a keen eye for identifying lapses and shortcomings.
- Integrating feedback from key stakeholders.
- Ability to accommodate different time zones (ET and IST) for weekly meetings
The fellow will report to two supervisors: NGO Monitor’s Director of Research and CAMERA’s Director of Research & Media Analysis. On a routine basis, the fellow will work closely with senior members of CAMERA’s research team. All jointly published/signed materials must be approved by both NGOM and CAMERA.
The position may be part-time (2 or 2.5 days/week) or full-time, with compensation to be determined accordingly. The position is remote, and there is an option to work in CAMERA’s Boston or Jerusalem office on a hybrid basis.
