On Tuesday, May 6th, the CCAP group at Chico State University<\/a>, Emet, held an event with professor Michael Leitner<\/a>. It\u00a0boasted 150 students and the University president, and was dedicated to a Yom Ha\u2019Atzmaut celebration.<\/p>\n

Celebrating Israel’s Independence Day with CAMERA frisbees, koozies, and reading material available nearby.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Through a brief discussion on Israeli Life and Leisure in the 21st Century, followed by Israeli music, dancing, and food, Chico University\u2019s Hillel was incredibly successful in bringing in a huge portion of the community together! By focusing on the cultural and fun aspects, Chico University\u2019s Hillel, in conjunction with CAMERA, was able to develop a positive view of Israel that is a rarity among many college students!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
