In early June, in the beautiful capital city of Israel, Jerusalem, CAMERA’s Senior Researcher, Ricki Hollander, gave an incredible briefing on The New York Times and its deceptive reporting. The turnout and excitement of the crowd completely exceeded expectations.
The room, fitting about 95, held 90 before the Begin Center staff literally shut the doors on people waiting outside.
We now know that there is a huge demand for CAMERA events in Jerusalem, and we had requests for the screening of “J Street Challenge.” In March, CAMERA was a sponsor of a screening of the film in Tel Aviv.
Aviva Slomich, director of the campus department, spoke at the event about CAMERA’s investment and work on the American and Canadian college campus. The audience had requested information about campus work, and fortunately Ms. Slomich was present to cover these issues.
